Children's software are games or applications that are geared to the topics, interests, needs and lifeworld of children. Often the software is intended to impart knowledge. The complexity and handling is suitable for children. It should be of high quality and meet the requirements of the intended target group. Children's software is made for children, intended for children and used by children. Electronic toys are part of children's software because the hardware also contains software that was created specifically for children.
