The community blog of the dbv Commission on Children’s and Youth Libraries vividly demonstrates just how modern, innovative, and dedicated youth libraries are today. However, the diversity of information is not reserved solely for library staff; rather, it is particularly helpful for advocates, educational partners, and teaching professionals who are on the lookout for new ideas and opportunities for collaboration. It is well known that, when it comes to educational issues, the work of libraries is generally not given enough consideration. Yet these services help alleviate the burden on schools and parents, among others.
