TOMMI – German Children's Software Award 2025

The winners of the TOMMI 2025 have been announced

At the award ceremony (December 14, 2025), the winners were announced as part of the media magazine "Team Timster" on KiKA, on kika.de, and on the KiKA player.

TOMMI is fun, teaches media literacy, and promotes participation.

Image

KiKA editor and media educator Anne Reichenbach:
"TOMMI also gives smaller games a platform and lets children decide for themselves what they really like. Testing and evaluating the games together is fun, strengthens their media literacy, and shows them that they can actively shape the digital world."

TOMMI: Media literacy and child protection in a protected space.

Image

TOMMI initiator Thomas Feibel:
When children test games and educational offerings in public libraries at TOMMI, they are doing much more than just "playing." As today's most important mediators of media literacy, trained staff also educate them about the risks and dangers of gaming. No other educational institution does this as consistently.
