TOMMI sets an example for participation and equal opportunities

Image

Patron and Federal Minister for Family Affairs Lisa Paus:
"The German Children's Software Award TOMMI sends a strong signal for participation and equal opportunities: children and young people will once again independently select the best games and digital educational offers in 2024. We are particularly pleased that the tests will take place in public libraries. This means that all children have the opportunity to try out the offerings and actively participate in the voting."

TOMMI for media literacy and child protection

Image

TOMMI initiator Thomas Feibel:
"At TOMMI, children and young people have the last word. They are also much more critical than adults often give them credit for. It's good that the tests in public libraries take place in a protected space where children and young people are made aware of the opportunities and dangers in the digital world by the staff. Because media literacy is child protection."
