Here’s what media educators have to say: “At first glance, it’s a fairly simple memory game, like so many others out there. From an inclusion perspective, however, it’s a great way—especially for children with disabilities—to train their perception and memory. This app caters to an important target group—one that is often left out—with a pedagogically well-designed application. It works by allowing users to have the revealed cards read aloud. With FaceTime, you can also play with others without sitting across from each other. This lets grandparents play with their grandchildren who live in a different location. You can also enable a mode where the playing cards appear as augmented reality on the table or the floor of the room. Very few games offer this, and it really excites the kids. Other things the kids love: the simple setup, the variety of designs, and the levels that unlock new ones as they’re completed. “Memory games are fun!” the kids say, and they usually don’t even realize that they’re training their memory in the process. That’s why it’s certainly a game for the older generation as well. You can tell from the game that the developer, Michael Temper, put a lot of thought into it and did an excellent job of refining a traditional game concept. That alone is worth an award!”
