Youngdata is the youth portal dedicated to data protection and freedom of information, and it has been thoroughly revised and updated. The site raises awareness among children and teens about how they handle their own data. Thematically, it covers the entire spectrum of data protection: from AI and social networks to Spotify, ChatGPT, and phishing. It also clearly explains the consequences of disregarding data protection. For example, when governments monitor their citizens’ online activities, democracy is put at risk. “Those who are constantly monitored,” the site explains, “cannot develop freely.”It’s a great resource for use in schools.
