Submissions Open for Publishers, Indie Developers, and Serious Games / Seeking a Jury of Children and Teens

The TOMMI is entering its 24th edition. Starting now, publishers and independent developers can submit digital games and educational offerings. We are also looking for a young media jury to thoroughly test and evaluate the nominated titles in approximately 50 libraries. Prior to that, an independent panel of experts—comprising educators, researchers, journalists, and education experts—will make an initial selection. The TOMMI promotes media literacy among young people and highlights their perspectives on digital content.

The awards ceremony willtake placeon Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. on the media show“TeamTimster” on KiKA.

What can publishers submit in 2025?

Games for PC, consoles, apps, electronic toys, and digital educational resources, as well as websites and titles for daycare and preschool. The age rating is USK 12.

Call for the 2025 Children’s and Youth Jury
About 50 libraries are inviting girls and boys aged 8 to 16 who are passionate about gaming to become part of the TOMMI Children’s and Youth Jury . The testing phase will take place at these libraries starting this fall.

TOMMI is published by the FEIBEL.DE Office for Children’s Media in Berlin. Partners of the award include the Biblioplay!
