iOS/Android: Homo Machina (ARTE)

2018 | Apps | Nominees

Here’s what the expert jury has to say: A little lesson for everyone: Half a century before comedian Otto, physician and author Fritz Kahn turned the human body into a machine in which an army of workers communicating with one another regulates bodily functions. “Homo Machina” brings these human-machine analogies—in a 1920s-style design—to the touchscreen, allowing us to watch the processes within the body with fascination and—by solving puzzles that are sometimes challenging—take control of them ourselves. A clever and entertaining journey through the factory of life.
