* A piece of blown-up bubble gum as the main character in a game: Kirby is reminiscent of Hubba Bubba and moves almost the same way—rolling, hopping, wobbling around, and flying. That’s absurd enough, but in “Kirby: The Forgotten Land,” Kirby can also swallow objects and then use their abilities: as a car that drives around, as scaffolding that bounces about, or as a construction cone that can blow up holes. It’s a lot of fun. As the game progresses, the dystopian-looking world fits the story better and better.
