Here’s what the kids’ jury says: “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” should win first place at TOMMI because the Battle Mode is a real blast. In the game, we race in frantic car races with lots of cars and lots of tracks. Once we’ve picked our driver and vehicle, the race begins. Along the way, we collect boxes containing various items to set traps for our opponents or to go faster. Unfortunately, the Switch controller is too small. Still, it’s the best game in the world.
