The “Osmo Coding Starter Kit” combines three programs into one set. A little monster runs through a fantastical world, collecting strawberries, wood, and other items to spruce up its camp. The highlight of the game is the controls: Instead of typing in commands, children place the control tiles— Run, Jump, Take, Repeat —in front of the tablet. In doing so, children learn the basics of algorithmic thinking in a playful way. The program is engaging and varied.
