2026 Games Awards
1st place - Child of Light (Ubisoft)
Here’s what the kids’ jury had to say: “Child of Light” and “Dream Hills: Stolen Magic” both received the same score and therefore both won first place at the TOMMI Awards. We chose “Child of Light” because the game’s concept is simply our favorite, even though the controls are a bit complicated and we first have to memorize what each button does. Aurora, with her gorgeous, flowing hair, is so beautiful. We love the fairy-tale story and the fantastic design—everything is drawn so incredibly well! The firefly companion is also a great idea.
“Dream Hills – Stolen Magic” proves that hidden-object games aren’t boring at all. The graphics couldn’t be better, and the puzzles are just the right amount of tricky. We have to think hard, collect items, and use them elsewhere. We just can’t get enough of the fairy-tale story and its atmosphere, and we’ll definitely be playing this game again and again.
