At first, we tried out the practice track. It’s just awesome to shift gears yourself, tear over jumps, and leap from ramp to ramp. It was a great way to let off some steam. After a race, you can unlock new tracks. The graphics are awesome, and everything else is cool, too.

Here’s what the expert jury has to say: In the official racing game “Monster Jam Showdown,” based on the American monster truck event series, fans of these high-horsepower vehicles with their oversized tires can get behind the wheel of a total of 40 trucks, many of which must first be unlocked. These include legendary vehicles such as Megalodon and Grave Digger. Racing around off-road tracks and in arenas is a lot of fun thanks to the spectacular presentation. With various modes and environments, challenging opponents, and countless challenges, there’s plenty of variety. Monster truck fans will get their money’s worth here, as will regular racing game fans.
