Here’s what the youth jury had to say: “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” won first place at TOMMI because, in this action-adventure game, we still haven’t seen or discovered everything in its beautifully designed open world. And there are still sooo many things we haven’t tried yet. Everything about it is just right: the gripping story, the amazing graphics and atmosphere, the suspense, the quests and side quests, and the freedom to roam around. Unraveling mysteries, solving puzzles, and defeating monsters is totally our thing.

Here’s what the expert jury has to say: In thesecond installment of the open-world game “The Legend of Zelda,” the story follows the hero Link and Princess Zelda. While exploring Hyrule, a mummy is reanimated, Zelda disappears, and Link is left with a new magical arm. Although the game’s structure is similar to its predecessor’s, it’s a bit trickier. The new abilities present players with entirely new challenges and puzzles, and the introduction of the new Sky World and Underworld opens up even more opportunities for exploration. With so many side quests, hours of gameplay fun are guaranteed.
