Here’s what the kids’ jury has to say: “Ubongo” should win the TOMMI Award because it’s a great board game—we’ve even beaten our parents at it. The app is even more exciting. We had to place different puzzle pieces into predefined shapes, which we had to rotate to fit. The pieces have great colors and look just like classic Tetris. We also had to do a lot of puzzling and thinking. It gets harder and more complicated as you go along. But nothing’s too hard for us as the kids’ jury! Things got really hectic, especially when we had to complete the task within a certain time limit. Flipping the pieces takes up too much time. With “Ubongo,” everything’s just right: graphics, fun, and ease of play.
