3rd place - All consoles: Lego DIMENSIONS (Warner)

Here’s what the kids’ jury says: “Lego Dimensions” should win the TOMMI because it’s all about Lego, and we can also “build” things with Lego ourselves—like that super-cool portal. The story is awesome: Batman, Wildstyle, and Gandalf get sucked into a portal, and we have to save them from the ultra-villain. It’s a classic platformer, and we really love games like that. We especially love the combination of movies and LEGO worlds where all kinds of different characters come together. It’s just fun to run around in “Ninjago” or “The Lord of the Rings” and smash things up. And riding in the Batmobile is awesome, too. Each character has special abilities. Switching between characters is quick, and the characters are awesome and easy to control. The only downside is that they’re really expensive. “Lego Dimensions” has great graphics, hilarious humor, and was a blast to play. It’s just right for our age group.
