Switch: Nintendo Labo (Nintendo)

2018 | Console Games | Nominees

Here’s what the expert jury had to say: “Nintendo Labo” comes not only with a software card, but also with countless sheets of sturdy cardboard that can be used to build small-scale models of a steering wheel, a fishing rod, or a piano. Thanks to detailed digital instructions, the folding, assembling, and building go smoothly, though it’s still time-consuming and challenging enough for kids that they can be proud of the final result. The fruits of their focused labor are enjoyed in fun digital games. Parents and children have hours of fun together.
