"Pokémon Sword and Shield" transports players to a new, beautifully designed world that offers plenty of room for exploration. Although the number of Pokémon has been reduced compared to previous installments, over 400 familiar and new creatures—which players can find, catch, and train—provide more than enough reasons to dive deep into the game. Both series veterans and newcomers will also appreciate clever new features, such as online modes that allow players to compete against one another.
