With its ’80s-style graphics, this game isn’t just sure to make retro fans’ hearts race. The well-designed 100 puzzles in “Dungeons of Dreadrock” get progressively more challenging as you play, though the difficulty level remains manageable. As a player, you work your way deeper into the dungeon, level by level. Along the way, you’ll encounter traps that you must skillfully avoid, as well as various monsters and puzzles. The puzzles, which are relatively easy to figure out at the beginning, become quite tricky by the 15th level at the latest. Every success motivates you all the more. The colorful 2D retro visuals create an atmosphere that’s sometimes eerie, but never scary.
