Inspired by Mesoamerican culture, “Itorah” transports players to a lovingly hand-drawn world full of puzzles and mazes. The eponymous protagonist must jump across chasms and dodge tricky traps. With each new ability, she grows more powerful and can overcome previously insurmountable obstacles. Unlike most games in this genre, which tend to be rather dark, this colorful game is particularly well-suited for a younger audience. From the very first second, the controls feel intuitive and smooth; both battles and puzzles remain fair and easy to follow at all times, and a clear map helps you find your way through the underground passages at any moment.
