“Edurino” introduces preschool-aged children to the basics of math, reading, and writing through fun and games. In addition to the child-friendly and free app, the starter set—which costs around 45 euros—includes a tablet stylus designed specifically for children’s hands and a game character that unlocks a specific learning area. Mika the fox guides “First Reading and Writing!”, Robin the raccoon guides “Numbers and Quantities,” and Niki the raccoon guides “First English!”. The app is really well-designed; everything is fully voiced, explained in a child-friendly way, and motivating, and the games have clear replay value—children ages 4 and up will quickly find their way around on their own, have fun, and learn a lot through play. Given the price, it’s highly recommended for use in daycare centers for multiple children (and even generations).
