iOS & Android: Flora Incognita - automatic plant identification with your smartphone

2019 | Apps | Nominees

Here’s what the expert jury says: The “Flora Incognita” app turns every walk in the woods into an adventure, plunging us right into a photo scavenger hunt. To identify a plant with certainty, different angles and perspectives are needed, and children quickly become nature photographers. The app is intuitive to use. You’ll start seeing results in no time. You can even save your favorite finds. Discovering real plants for the first time can trigger the same excitement as catching a digital Pokémon.
