iOS /Android: Naturblick (Museum für Naturkunde Berlin)

Here’s what the expert jury says: If you look closely, you can discover plenty of nature even in the densest urban jungle, encountering a colorful array of animal and plant species in green oases—both large and small—amid the asphalt and concrete. But what exactly is crawling and flying around there? What’s spreading across the ground and reaching skyward? Even those with no background in biology can identify animals and plants using the app; voice recognition—and soon image recognition as well—make detective work in the urban habitat just a little easier. Using your smartphone and discovering nature at the same time don’t have to be mutually exclusive. A green adventure for the whole family!
