Ubisoft’s living museum offers about 30 interactive themed tours through ancient Greece. Lectures provide opportunities to interact with eyewitnesses; anecdotes, visual material, and short texts bring the life, culture, politics, and historical events of ancient Greece to life. At the end of each tour, participants can test their knowledge with a quiz. Drawbacks include the sometimes uncritical treatment of source material and the relatively high cost. Nevertheless, it represents a promising new approach to history education.
