Children love bedtime stories—especially when they’re read aloud. The Pixie books are well-known for being read aloud. But there are also times when children would rather listen to the stories on their own. The app that accompanies the books makes this possible. Many wonderful stories are available here as audiobooks. The app is easy to use; children can independently choose their favorite story from a variety of themes. The stories are age-appropriate and are read aloud by talented narrators. Some may be a bit too exciting for certain children to fall asleep to if they’re just listening to them rather than having them interpreted and accompanied as they would be when read aloud. The app gives children who can’t read yet the independence to listen to “their” stories on their own.
