1st place - Anki Overdrive Supertrucks (Anki)

Here’s what the kids’ jury has to say: “Anki Overdrive Supertrucks” should win the TOMMI Award because it’s the perfect mix of a real toy and an app. Some of the kids on the jury already tested the track last year, but it’s even more fun with the Supertruck. We especially liked that we could build the track ourselves and play with friends. Plus, the design of all the vehicles and the track—including the bridge—is totally cool and stylish. Controlling it with the iPad is awesome, and there’s no shortage of action when you’re shooting at others like in a video game. It’s just fun to come up with tricks using the Supertruck so you don’t get overtaken. The battles and races are just amazing, and the pace is lightning-fast. We’re race car drivers.
