2026 Games Awards
1st place – Lazuli Buttons – funline Media GmbH
Here’s what the TOMMI Kids’ Jury has to say: “Lazuli Buttons” wins the TOMMI because it’s a clever logic and puzzle game. We arrange buttons into the right rows, shapes, and spots, solve puzzles, and master lots of levels. We loved that we could figure out what to do right away. It’s easy at first, but it gets harder and harder. Then we helped each other out—with buttons and brains. Really awesome.
Here’s what the expert jury had to say: Lazuli, the dog, introduces a game with buttons, and the premise is actually quite simple: colored buttons must be maneuvered into the matching holes. That sounds easy at first. Players quickly made it through the first few levels—but then it gets increasingly tricky. While the game doesn’t have many variations, everyone understands right away what it’s all about. Thanks to the more difficult challenges that arise as the game progresses, even older children and teens can enjoy it and keep playing.
