On Searching & Finding: The hidden-object game genre—which isn’t exactly brand-new anymore—is brought to life in this puzzle-filled, spooky musical in a surprisingly complex and imaginative way, so that the static images come to life and draw you into the story. Small brain teasers alternate with search-and-find challenges in beautifully designed scenes. An extra-easy difficulty level skillfully helps younger players without spoiling the excitement.

Here’s what the kids’ jury has to say:
“Lost Souls” takes first place at TOMMI because (drumroll!) it’s a great combination of a hidden-object and puzzle game—just the way we like it. This unconventional hidden-object game is very challenging. We had to think hard, but we had fun doing it. In the gripping story, we take on the role of a single mother trying to save her child from an evil wizard. To do this, we had to search like detectives, look closely, and piece things together. Sometimes we even got really frustrated when we couldn’t find the solution. That’s why the game was especially fun to play with others. One of us always had a tip. Luckily, the game itself offers hints every now and then. In addition to the brilliant graphics, we loved that the challenges and solutions were hidden within the images. We couldn’t stop playing and often didn’t even notice how quickly time was flying by while we were playing.
