“It Takes Two” wins the TOMMI because, in our opinion, it takes a deep look at an important topic: how to stick together despite conflicts. It’s about a couple who want to break up but then find themselves under a spell. Through the many varied and tricky challenges—which they can only overcome together—the couple regains their trust in each other amid the turmoil of their emotions. We like the gameplay and the constant switch between tools, which keeps the game from ever getting boring.

Here’s what the expert jury had to say: *
* The Swedish game developer Hazelight Studios has created a fantastic action-adventure game whose humor and setting are reminiscent of *Honey, I Shrunk the Kids*. Players must work together, coordinate with each other, wait for one another, and help each other in order to progress. The dialogue and graphics are great, the puzzles are tricky, and they can only be solved by a team of two. Families will have a lot of fun with this game.
