Here’s what the kids’ jury had to say: “1-2-Switch” took second place at the TOMMI Awards because it’s the best party game in the world, and in “Multiplayer” mode, a really, really large number of people can join in. We compete against each other—either alone or in groups—in really funny mini-games and challenges. No one can sit still during this game because everyone has to move around a lot—for example, to find a dance partner. We have to be very skillful and coordinate with each other. If we move around a lot, we might even have a chance to win. It’s like a whole bunch of mini-games in one, and we laughed a lot.

But as more and more players join in via controller or smartphone, this title turns into an incredibly entertaining game. Who can cook a steak to perfection? Who has the best answers to the trivia questions? Who proves to be the most skilled at the various challenges? “Everybody 1-2-Switch!” feels like a short but fun pub quiz. It’s just the thing to do with friends!
