Here’s what the kids’ jury had to say: “Pikmin 4” took third place at the TOMMI Awards because it’s really funny, adventurous, and truly imaginative. We explore a beautifully animated world on a planet and, in a mix of adventure and strategy, have to find a lost crew. The colorful Pikmin we collect, deploy, and throw are really great. Along the way, we complete lots of missions. We loved EVERYTHING about it and would play it again in a heartbeat because it’s fantastic. The dog is especially funny.

Here’s what the expert jury had to say:“Pikmin” is better than ever in its fourth generation! Pikmin look like a cute cross between stuffed animals and plants and can be directed with a whistle. They help you search for parts for the spaceship, defeat dangerous bugs, and explore gardens and rooms. The game is incredibly cute, but at the same time challenging and deep, since each Pikmin species has different abilities and they can only achieve their goal by working together.
