2018 | Console Games | Winners

Here’s what the kids’ jury had to say: “MarioTennis Aces”took second place at the TOMMI Awards in the Console category because tennis has been completely reinvented here. Even though saving Luigi is the goal—and it’s a sports game—the game is so imaginative and still feels authentic. We had to really concentrate to win multiple rounds. Even when we lost a round, we still had a chance to win. There are tons of challenges, characters, and game modes. And we had to defeat Donkey Kong. We thought the feature that shows where the ball will land was awesome. We really like the graphics, too.
