Here’s what the expert jury says: Toad is a little creature with a mushroom-shaped head who keeps popping up in Nintendo games. In “Treasure Tracker,” he makes his big debut as an anti-hero. The thing is, he can’t actually do anything—not run, not jump, not fight. Instead, he waddles through the levels, has to avoid enemies, and search for hidden treasures. Fortunately, a second player can help by throwing tomatoes at enemies and rotating the level with the camera. That’s why the game is twice as much fun when played with two players.
