3rd place - Goodbye Deponia (Daedalic)

Here’s what the kids’ jury had to say: “Goodbye Deponia” won 3rd place at the TOMMI Awards because it’s totally funny and has a totally wacky story. The controls are simple and respond instantly and accurately. Plus, this crazy adventure is packed with lots of bad words and insanely funny one-liners. The characters look hilarious. We especially like the hero, Rufus, who always manages to make things even worse than they already are with his actions. It’s a really great puzzle game full of interesting puzzles and with really good dialogue, just like in a movie. Even if there’s sometimes too much chatter. The game has a great atmosphere, and the funny voice actors make it feel almost real. Older people, like our parents, will definitely like it, too.
