Here’s what the kids’ jury had to say: “Mario Kart 8” won first place at the TOMMI Kids’ Software Awards because it’s a lot of fun and never gets boring. We love the wide variety of tracks, the fact that we can drive on walls and underwater, and even fly. We annoy other players and get annoyed ourselves—you can bump into other drivers without anyone dying. “Mario Kart 8” is a great group game. When playing alone, the AI opponents are just the right level of challenge. The awesome power-ups add a lot of excitement to the game. We also really like that we can customize our vehicles ourselves with wheels and gliders. It’s the best video game in the world for the whole family.
