PS4: Starlink: Battle for Atlas (Ubisoft)

2019 | Console Games | Nominees

Here's what the expert jury has to say: The Toys to Life game “Starlink” creates a diverse universe and combines it with an exciting story. Part of the children’s mission is to fly through this universe in spaceships to fend off a major threat. Exploring the planets is a joy thanks to responsive controls, crisp graphics, and a wide range of ship upgrades. In-app purchases aren’t strictly necessary, especially since the Switch version adds a touch of Nintendo retro charm with the Starfox glider.

Caution from a youth protection perspective: In-game prompts to make purchases in order to unlock additional spaceshipsö: “Purchase this set at a retail store.”
