Here’s what the expert jury says: Other games rely on garish colors and a comic-book style. “The Curse of Brotherhood,” on the other hand, focuses on suspense. It does a great job of catering to older children’s need for thrills, chills, and the excitement of being on the edge of their seats. The protagonist, Max, doesn’t use weapons—just a magic pen. Instead of blasting enemies, it’s cleverness that gets us through. You have to use this magic pen with a lot of brainpower. However, some frustration is inevitable. We’ll only reach our goal after many “Game Over” moments.
