"Captain Tsubasa" is an entertaining blend of FIFA and manga. The story elements weave a thrilling narrative, but the focus is clearly on a unique brand of fantasy soccer. And along the way, friendships are nurtured, team spirit is built, and strategies are developed. Kids who love anime aesthetics and soccer will find many hours of fun here. For many, this is probably even a good reason to check out the anime series.
