Switch: Luigi's Mansion 3 (Nintendo)

2020 | Console | Nominees

Mario's brother Luigi has to clean a hotel that's been taken over by ghosts using a vacuum cleaner. The individual levels are brilliantly designed, offering plenty of opportunities to discover secrets and experiment with what you can vacuum up. There are also cool boss battles and fun sound design. Luigi tends to be skittish, hesitant, and by no means a great hero—at least not at first. And that makes him an ideal role model for many people who weren’t born to be heroes either.
