Toys to life: Starlink - Battle for Atlas (Ubisoft)

2019 | Electronic Toys | Nominees

Here’s what the expert jury says: The Atlas Solar System is under attack by the sinister leader Grax. We become part of a team of fearless pilots who stand up to the threat with courage, skill, and perseverance. Before we begin, we attach a spaceship model to our game controller. Based on the “toy-to-life” principle, we can now swap out and recombine pilots, weapon systems, and parts of the spaceship right in front of the screen. The changes are immediately reflected in the digital game.

Caution from a youth protection perspective: There are in-game prompts to make purchases in order to unlock additional spaceships: “Buy this set at a retail store”
