1st place - The number devil (Terzio)
Here’s what the kids’ jury had to say:In “Zahlenteufel,” players are simply drawn into the story and almost forget that it’s about math. Math is explained in an amazingly easy way here. We were pretty surprised that the devil was able to explain some pretty tough math problems in a way that was easy to understand. We also liked that you can choose whether the player does the math themselves or lets Robert do it. There’s a game after every topic: It’s a lot of fun, and you can test yourself. The games help you remember the math combinations better. Even if you haven’t mastered all the problems, you can keep playing. The glossary explains everything again briefly but accurately. We’ll definitely be able to use it again for math—or just play it for fun. The humor coming from the Number Devil makes learning much more interesting than with some math teachers at school.
