1st place - iOS & Android: Kleine Löschmeister (Versicherungskammer Bayern/Daedalic)

2020 | App | Winner

Here’s what the kids’ jury had to say: “Little Firefighters” won first place at the TOMMI 2020 because, just like real firefighters, we got to save people. As firefighters, we were given lots of tasks and drove all over the city. We had to break down doors and rescue animals and elderly people and bring them to safety. There was always something going on. We also learned how to clean up an oil spill and put out a ton of fires. It was great.

Here’s what the expert jury says: Want to quickly slip into a firefighter’s uniform, put out fires, and eliminate sources of danger? With this app, kids become little firefighting champions themselves. It’s very easy to use—no reading skills are required—and on-screen prompts show you what to do next. The app is a lot of fun and offers a wide variety of exciting tasks. It teaches kids about the fire department and fire prevention in a playful way. A red-hot recommendation!
