Here’s what the kids’ jury had to say: “Super Mario 3D World” took second place at the TOMMI Kids’ Software Awards because we get to be cute cats that can climb up steep walls. It looks so funny! We think the levels are incredibly cool and varied. The graphics, design, and sound effects are top-notch, too. We have to collect coins and stars, and the platforming is never too hard—even in the toughest spots—but it’s never too easy either. We have the most fun playing cooperatively, when we have to coordinate with each other to move forward. It’s great to push Mario and his friends to their limits. Each character has different abilities. We like the cherries best, because then lots of clones of one character scurry around. A game for all ages.
