2nd place - The Sims 4 High School Years (EA)

Here’s what the kids’ jury has to say:
“The Sims 4 High School Years” wins the TOMMI award because, in our opinion, it’s the best real-life game, and we’ve always loved playing The Sims. This expansion pack adds a whole new twist to the familiar gameplay. Until now, we’ve only known high schools from TV, but it’s just so much fun to go to one ourselves and try everything out. It was great to be a cheerleader or go to the prom. Above all, the many new items make you want to keep playing over and over again.

Here’s what the expert jury had to say:
A truly beautifully designed world with seemingly endless possibilities. The expansion pack will delight children and teens because it lets them “try out” life as a young adult in high school. Of course, romantic feelings, love, and related experiences are also part of the mix. The Sims are constantly evolving, and we can invest a great deal of time in supporting their development. The developers have created a massive play area for players where they can explore to their heart’s content—including a ride on the Ferris wheel.
