Here’s what the kids’ jury had to say: “The Sims 4: Live Sustainably” won the TOMMI 2020 award because the simulation game feels like real life and lets us make our own choices about how we live. This time, we weren’t just able to start a family—we also learned a lot about environmental protection and recycling. We came up with new ideas—for example, by turning old things into new ones. Now we want to try that at home, too.

Here's what the expert jury says: Are The Sims going eco-friendly now? Yes, and they're actually doing a pretty good job of it. That's why the game has the potential to raise awareness among young players about sustainable living. Through recycling, collecting rainwater, and generating electricity with solar panels, The Sims become a self-sufficient household. Or they can improve their neighborhood's ecological footprint.
