Here’s what the youth jury had to say: “Glasfäden” took second place at the TOMMI Awards because the app tells the migration story of Vietnamese contract workers in a very engaging way, in the style of a graphic novel. This makes it anything but dry—it’s much more vivid. We also really liked the old photographs and the graphics, which, despite their artistic presentation, remain grounded in reality. We’d definitely take another look at the app to watch all the interviews with children and adults at our leisure.
