Here’s what the youth jury had to say: The “Youngdata” website won third place at the TOMMI Awards because it finally offers us young people a good, easy-to-understand selection of information on the topic of data protection. While we already knew some of this before, there was a lot we didn’t know. The layout is very good, and most importantly, we understood that data protection is really about us as people—not just about data. We’d love to see a site like this at school, too, when it comes to media literacy.

Here’s what the expert jury had to say: The“Youngdata” youth portal presents the topics of data protection and freedom of information in a way that is easy for young people to understand and engaging. It informs them about current data protection issues related to their personal media use. This helps young people become more aware of their rights regarding privacy and data protection and enables them to find answers and guidance on the website for their questions and concerns.
