3rd place - Tablet: Kurio Tablet (KD Germany)

Here’s what the kids’ jury says: The “Kurio Tablet” won 3rd place at the TOMMI Awards because we think tablets really belong in every library. With them, we can not only make funny videos and take photos, but also access a ton of apps. There are tons of games for every taste and age group. Some of us think the educational games are lame because we’re already grown up. But there are also lots of cool games, and we like the wide selection best. The device itself is nice and big, fits comfortably in your hand, and is very well-made. The menu is clear and easy to use.
